ARTISTIC APPROACH
In my photographic work, I am particularly interested in creating atmospheres characterized by color and light-dark ambiance as narrative elements. Inspired by cinematic language, I design contemplative and nostalgic staging.
BIO
Carlos Riobo studied communication and journalism at the Externado University of Colombia in Bogota. For several years, he worked in public relations companies as a consultant in communications. His interest in film language, literature and metal music became sources of inspiration for his later development as a photographer. He lives and works in Montreal, where he obtained his degree in professional photography from Marsan College. He invest his time creating photography projects and doing photo retouching work. He co-founded Valaquia, a collective specialized in photography and artistic direction
